Eligibility for DAAD – Research Stays in Germany for University Academics And Scientists, 2019:

  • The scholarship is open to applicants of India.
  • Applicants should be enrolled in one of the Indian Institutes of Management (IIM).
  • The programme provides an opportunity to the students of IIM to spend up to one semester at a selected German higher education institution.
  • Applicants must be from Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Kozhikode, Indore, Kolkata, Lucknow, or Udaipur in their 2nd semester of postgraduate study.
  • The successful applicants can take a semester at Otto Beisheim Graduate School of Management, WHU Vallendar; Handelshochschule Leipzig; European Business School Oestrich-Winkel; Universität zu Köln; or Mannheim Business School.

Value of DAAD – Research Stays in Germany for University Academics And Scientists, 2019:

  • Successful applicants will receive a monthly payment of EUR 2,000 for assistant teachers, assistant professors or lecturers and EUR 2,150 for professors.
  • The scholarship also covers health, accident, and personal liability insurance.
  • Travel allowance, one-off research allowance are covered.
