The Drake University is offering undergraduate scholarships based on financial need, academic merit, athletic or artistic talent.
Drake National Alumni Scholarships, 2023 is offered through the national alumni scholarship program. These are awarded to top students.
There are four types of scholarships, National Alumni Scholarships, George A. Carpenter Scholarships, Alumni and Carpenter Scholarships, Trustee Scholarships.


  • The applicants for Drake National Alumni Scholarships, 2023 should have SAT math and critical reading combined score of 1360, ACT composite score of 31, SAT math and critical reading combined score of 1430,
  • The candidates should be in top 5 percent of their class or should have minimum CGPA of 3.8 on a 4.0 scale.
  • The applicants are expected to participate either in National Alumni Scholarship Days on February 4 or February 18, 2017.

Documents required

  • The applicants for Drake National Alumni Scholarships, 2023 should submit an application for admission.
  • The candidates are expected to submit academic transcripts.
  • The applicants should also submit ACT or SAT test results.
  • If the candidate is applying through printed application then he/she should pay $25 as application fee.

Selection Criteria

  • The applicants are assessed based on their scholastic achievement, extracurricular activities.
  • The candidates are evaluated based n their leadership skills and their potential for contribution to the university.

Value of the scholarship

  • The recipient of National Alumni Scholarships will be awarded tuition, board, double occupancy in Drake residence hall, and fees.
  • The recipient of George A. Carpenter Scholarships will be given full tuition fees.
  • The recipient of Trustee Scholarships will be given $1,000 if they participate in a Scholarship Day and complete the National Alumni Scholarship application process.
