- Applicants must either be citizens or permanent residents of USA.
- Candidates must have either enrolled or accepted for enrollment at an accredited UG institution in the USA as a full-time student.
- A GPA of 3.3 or higher on a 4.0-point scale must be secured by the applicants or they must belong to the top 5% of their class in their undergraduate university.
- To be eligible for National Institutes of Health Undergraduate Scholarship Program, 2019, applicants must be certified as having ‘Exceptional Financial Need’ by the financial aid office in their institution.
- High school seniors or advanced degree seniors are ineligible to apply.
