Eligibility for Outstanding International Student Award, UBC, 2023:

  • The Outstanding International Student Award, UBC, 2023 should directly enter the secondary school and be a new student at UBC.
  • The candidates should be an international student studying at UBC on a Canadian study permit (student visa).
  • The changes to applicant’s citizenship will affect their IME eligibility.

Selection criteria:

  • The candidates are expected to show excellent academic achievement, extracurricular and community involvement and intellectual promise.
  • The applicants are assessed based on their academic merit and personal profile.
  • The personal profile of the candidates should include their achievement, challenges they had to overcome and what they have learned from their experiences.

Documents required:

  • The candidates are expected to answer each question in the personal profile with 50-200 words.
  • The applicants are expected to submit their applications before the deadline.
