Queen Elizabeth II Graduate Scholarship


University of Alberta is a world-class Institute offers its Postgraduate, PhD scholarship program Open to Canadian nationals , to equip with the most recognized, innovative courses and practices within the discipline. Queen Elizabeth II Graduate Scholarship will be awarded to the hardworking, talented and deserving students from the selected country/countries. This educational award welcomes students to get themselves enroll in listed Postgraduate, PhD program for the academic year of 2019-2020 and earn a Partial Funding, $5,400 – $10,800 scholarship in Canada . The deadline to avail this scholarship has not finalized yet but make sure to check the program website if any latest development in this matter has been made.

Eligibility

  • The candidate must be registered full-time at the time of the award.
  • Applicant must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident during the tenure of the award.
  • Must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher over the last 15 credits of graded coursework.
  • Doctoral candidates must be registered in their 1st – 6th year of a doctoral degree program.
  • He/She can also be recommended for admission to a graduate program by the department. 
  • Master’s applicants must be registered in their 1st – 4th year of a master’s degree program
  • He/She can also be recommended for admission to a graduate program by the department. 

Value

  • Postgraduate applicants will be awarded $10,800 for a full-value award and up to $5,400 for a half-value award.
  • Doctoral applicants will be granted $15,000 for a full-value award and up to $7,500 for a half-value award.
