Clinical Research and Development Fellowships is a research programme offered by the Research and Training in Tropical Diseases (TDR). This programme is sponsored jointly by UNICEF, UNDP, World Bank, and WHO.

Eligibility for Research and Training in Tropical Diseases – TDR Clinical Research and Development Fellowships in Switzerland, 2019:

  • Scholarship program is open for low and middle-income countries.
  • Hold an MSc or Ph.D. degree or medical degree in the relevant degree.
  • The last degree must be less 15 years old from date of this application.
  • Have been a researcher or clinical staff member employed for the past 12 months in an institution with a registered legal entity in an LMIC conducting clinical research activities in the scope of TDR’s mandate.

Value of Research and Training in Tropical Diseases – TDR Clinical Research and Development Fellowships in Switzerland, 2019:

  • The successful applicant of TDR Clinical Research and Development Fellowships will receive:
    • Monthly Stipend of $4,000.
    • One-time allowance of $1,500.
    • Health Insurance.
    • Additional Support of up to $3,000.
