- The candidates are expected to meet the English language requirements.
- The applicants should be enrolled in a program of study through the 2016 or 2017 Curtin Innovative Merit Scholarships.
- The candidates should be full-fee paying and International students.
- The applicants for Science & Engineering Merit Extension Scholarship, 2017-18 should have commenced a full undergraduate degree in Semester 1 or 2, 2016 or Semester 1 or 2, 2017 at Curtin University.
- The candidates should not be studying at the University via a sponsoring body.
- The applicants should not have received any credits for recognized learning (CRL).
- The candidates should achieve and maintain course weighted average of 75% or above.
