Eligibility

  • The applicants for SMU Overseas Ph.D. Scholarship should be citizens of Singapore.

  • The candidates should have bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Accountancy, Engineering, Economics, Social Science, Computer Science, and Engineering.

  • The applicants for SMU Overseas Ph.D. Scholarship should submit a curriculum vitae, academic transcripts, names and e-mail addresses of three referees familiar with applicant’s education/work.
  • The candidates should submit a personal statement mentioning their area of interest and motivation for pursuing an academic career.
  • The applicants can also submit a sample of their writing in 2 pages, test scores or other documents.
