South Carolina Commission on Higher Education – SC Need-Based Grant


The South Carolina need-based grant program, overlooked and monitored by S.C. higher education tuition, aims to help students getting enrolled in independent university or colleges in the USA.

This grant aims to assist those students financially who belong to South Carolina and require funding to aid with their college education.

Eligibility Criteria for South Carolina Commission on Higher Education – SC Need-Based Grant

Course or Subjects:

The grant will be awarded for undergraduate study in any subject

Criteria:

Enrolment in the first-year one-year degree program, first associate’s degree, first two-year program leading to a baccalaureate degree, first baccalaureate degree, or first pre-professional undergraduate degree, to include those pre-professional degree programs that may not require a baccalaureate degree at an eligible S.C. public institution.

Procedure to Apply for South Carolina Commission on Higher Education – SC Need-Based Grant

Free Application for Federal Student Aid(FAFSA) needs to be completed. Students need to make sure that they are enrolled in one of the South Carolina Eligible Public Institutions to achieve S.C. Need-based Grant Program.

• Full-time enrolment entails $2500 annually while part-time results in grant of $1250 annually.
