The UK’s Medical Research Council is offering prospective medical students with free tuition fee and grants through UK MRC London Intercollegiate Doctoral Training Partnership Studentships program in the year of 2023. This studentships are to be taken at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine(LSHTM) for period of either 1+3 or 3.5 years depending on the path the candidate chooses.

Eligibility for UK MRC London Fully Funded Intercollegiate Doctoral Training Partnership Studentships 2023:

  • The students to be eligible for UK MRC London Intercollegiate Doctoral Training Partnership Studentships must satisfy following criteria:
    • Must have 1st class or 2:1 in Honours degree.
    • Must be citizen of UK or EU.
    • Must reside in UK for at least three years preceding 1 September 2019 if not only eligible for fees only studentship.
    • Ph.D. applicant must have relevant Master’s degree and experience.
    • Fee-only studentship applicant must provide residency funding details.

  • The successful recipient of fully funded UK MRC London Intercollegiate Doctoral Training Partnership Studentship will receive:
    • Full Tuition fee.
    • Annual Stipend of GBP 2,000.00.

    • Additional funding for fieldwork and three month placement.
