The Undergraduate Research Award is offered to students for full-time research they will do for 12-16 months under the supervision of the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) professor.

Eligibility for University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) Undergraduate Research Award in Canada, 2023:

  • Canadian citizens and permanent residents.
  • International students are only eligible for STAR awards.
  • Admitted to University of Ontario Institute of Technology’s Undergraduate degree at the time of application.
  • Cumulative average of B or equivalent.
  • Completed one-year University degree by the time of initiation of the research project.
