The University of Strathclyde of Glasgow, United Kingdom is offering AHRC-funded Design Star Studentships, 2019 to pursue a program of postgraduate study in design.

Eligibility for University of Strathclyde’s AHRC-funded Ph.D. Studentships in UK, 2023:

  • The candidates will be educated to Postgraduate Level or equivalent.
  • The applicants are required to meet the AHRC eligibility criteria for funding.
  • The candidates should be EU nationals.
  • International applicants are not eligible for the Design Star award.
  • The applications for AHRC-funded Design Star Studentships, 2023 will go through a two-stage process.

Selection criteria and procedure:

  • The applications will be first considered by the Doctoral Centre.
  • The applications which are successful at the interview stage will be submitted to Design Star.
  • The applications for a full-time study that go forward to Design Star are automatically considered for the University of Brighton Studentship.
  • The candidates who have already commenced doctoral study at the University of Brighton are not eligible for the studentships but may be eligible for AHRC awards through Design Star.
  • The applicants should apply for Design Star studentships through the University of Brighton’s Arts and Humanities Doctoral Centre.
  • The prospective doctoral candidates should contact their potential supervisor about the research proposal before applying.
  • The applicants for AHRC-funded Design Star Studentships, 2019 should submit both a university online application form and a Design Star application form if their research proposal is suitable for a Design Star studentship.
